My findings reveal that numerous Facebook groups centered around various interests have thousands of members. Some groups focused on love or other themes attract millions of followers.

If your goal is to grow your audience, think expansively. Spending time on platforms with limited reach will only yield minimal success, restricting the visibility of your content.

To maximize your income based on followers, views, and engagement, you need to present your work to a broader audience, aiming to attract dedicated followers. The solution? Join YouTube! While writing on Medium is beneficial, combining it with YouTube posts can amplify your reach.

As you may know, I currently have over 347 followers but no income from the Medium Partner Program (MPP). It appears I am experiencing shadow impacts, which is unfortunate. Being new to Medium, I'm still trying to understand what this means as a data analyst.

On April 7, I was declined for MPP, and since that date, my engagement has sharply declined despite having more followers and articles than before.

As illustrated, my reads took a significant downturn starting April 7, despite having a considerable amount of content and more than three times the followers.

I hope that one day Medium will support me and elevate my content visibility. For now, the data suggests that investing time in both YouTube and Medium is crucial for success on Medium.com.
