Exciting Adventures During My Time Away from Medium

Chapter 1: A Refreshing Break
I’m thrilled to announce my return to writing on Medium after a short pause. For the last five months, I’ve actively engaged with this community, appreciating the lively discussions and the eagerness for knowledge that defines Medium.
My journey began in Pensacola, where I finalized the purchase of a new home set to be completed by summer. I can hardly contain my excitement about moving to this area with my daughter, as we’ll be just a street away from the intercoastal waterways, where I anticipate spending a lot of time on the water.
In the upcoming weeks, I will return to Florida to finalize a few remaining land transactions, bringing this exhilarating chapter to a close.
The next part of my adventure took me to Orlando, where I reunited with my father and brother for a weekend at the renowned Daytona International Speedway, participating in the Rolex 24 Hours event—an annual tradition we’ve cherished for many years. The weather was perfect, and the event did not disappoint, providing endless thrills.

Chapter 2: Career Developments and New Ventures
After an exhilarating weekend, I returned to Orlando for a night, preparing for a series of meetings on Monday morning. While I can’t divulge too much just yet, I’m excited to share some important career developments soon.
Taking a break from Medium allowed me to recharge and refocus, setting my mindset for the challenges and opportunities ahead. As February approaches, I look forward to sharing more insights and experiences throughout the year.
On an exciting note, I am pleased to announce the official launch of my new podcast, “Rucking Serious,” this week. Although it is slightly delayed, I assure you it will be worth the wait.
