Consider a scenario with four triangles, which collectively have twelve angles; three triangles contribute nine angles, while two triangles add six. I suggest pausing here to take out a pen and paper. Once you're ready, continue reading for the solution!
Solution Approach
To tackle this puzzle, I envisioned the three angles of the central triangle and extended each to the adjacent outer triangles.

It is well-established that the sum of angles within any triangle is 180 degrees. Each of the three blue angles from the central triangle corresponds to an angle in each of the three outer triangles.
All nine angles together equal the total sum of angles from three triangles, which is calculated as 3(180) = 540 degrees. To determine the total of all six red angles, we simply subtract 180 from 540.
Thus, we arrive at our final answer.
